The Attorney General at the Court of Appeal in Marrakesh, Mr. Khaled Kardoudi, chaired on Thursday, January 22, 2026, the work of the fourth meeting of the Regional Coordination Committee with the judicial police services.
This meeting was held at the judicial district level of the Court of Appeal in Marrakesh, in the presence of the Attorneys General, the Wali of Security of Marrakesh, and the Regional Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, along with the other members of the committee. This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening the mechanisms of coordination and institutional cooperation between the Public Prosecution and the various judicial police services. This coordination aims to enhance the effectiveness of judicial investigation, standardize working methods, and ensure the proper application of the law in a way that serves the interest of justice and strengthens confidence in the judicial system. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss a number of issues related to the implementation of criminal policy and to discuss the practical constraints presented at the level of daily practice. The participants emphasized during the meeting the importance of joint work and continuous coordination between the various stakeholders, ensuring the protection of rights and freedoms and consolidating judicial security. The outcomes of this meeting are expected to contribute to supporting the quality of judicial and security work and strengthening governance in the management of files related to investigation, serving the interest of justice and litigants.
