A person died this Sunday evening, while five others were injured with varying degrees of severity, following a traffic accident that occurred on National Road No. 6, which connects the areas of Amsoun and the center of Tadert in the province of Guercif.
According to local sources, the accident resulted from a strong collision between two light cars, the first of the "Audi" type bearing a European license plate, and the second of the "Renault 19" type with a Moroccan license plate. The accident resulted in the death of a person born in 1952 at the scene, due to the severe injuries he sustained. The sources added that the five injured were quickly transferred to the emergency department of the regional hospital in Guercif to receive the necessary treatment, while the Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Defense personnel began their procedures, where the body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue, while securing traffic, and opening an investigation to determine the circumstances and details of the accident.
