Royal Gendarmerie elements were able, this evening, to seize a significant amount of drugs estimated at about 70 kilograms, during a security raid that targeted a house in the Douar of Had Harara, under the jurisdiction of the judicial center in Safi province.
This security operation came under the supervision of the regional commander and the squadron commander, within the framework of ongoing efforts to combat the illegal trafficking of drugs and enhance security in the region. According to local sources, the raid resulted in the seizure of the mentioned quantity, while the main suspect managed to escape to an unknown destination, where it turned out that he was the subject of previous national search warrants for similar cases. The Royal Gendarmerie services have initiated an investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, in order to determine the circumstances of the case, and intensify investigations to arrest the suspect and present him to justice.
