The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Tuesday, a decrease in temperatures with relatively cold to cold weather over the highlands, the Eastern region, and the southeast of the country.
Snowfall is expected over the High and Middle Atlas Mountains and the Rif, in addition to rain or local thunderstorms over the regions of Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, Rif, and the High and Middle Atlas Mountains. Other scattered rain will also fall over the regions of Chaouia, Doukkala, Abda, Chiadma, Souss, and the areas extending west of the Atlas, the Mediterranean coast and the east of the country. Strong to locally strong wind gusts will also be observed in the northern regions, the Atlas, the Eastern region, in addition to the Mediterranean coast. Minimum temperatures will range between minus 06 and 01 degrees in the High Atlas Mountains, between 01 and 06 degrees in the Rif and the east of the country, between 13 and 17 degrees in the far south of the Kingdom and near the coasts, and between 06 and 13 degrees in the rest of the areas. The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean coast, rough to very rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and locally very rough in the evening on its western side, very rough to very rough between Cape Spartel and Tarfaya, rough to very rough in the south, and will be locally slightly choppy to rough between Tarfaya and Laayoune.
