The Libyan Public Prosecution initiated investigation procedures into the killing of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, following an official report indicating the death occurred under mysterious circumstances. A Sputnik correspondent mentioned that a decision was issued by the Libyan Attorney General, where the specialized investigation team began exercising its legal powers, including collecting initial information, visiting sites related to the incident, conducting the necessary inspections, and seizing evidence, in addition to appointing specialized experts and hearing the testimonies of witnesses and anyone who could provide clarifications regarding the incident. Forensic doctors and experts in various fields, including weapons, fingerprints, toxins, and other scientific specializations related to criminal investigation, conducted an examination of the deceased's body according to the approved legal procedures.
