The Bab Doukkala district in the Medina district of Marrakech witnessed, a short while ago this Wednesday morning, a horrific traffic accident, in which a Swiss tourist died after being run over during the accident.
According to sources, the deceased was with her husband on a tour of the old neighborhoods of the city, when she was surprised by the accident between a taxi and a utility vehicle (pickup), which resulted in serious injuries to her head. The incident mobilized the police services that arrived at the scene, where they opened an investigation to reveal the causes and circumstances of the accident, while the body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue in order to complete the procedures followed in such incidents.
