The Dar Al-Fatat in the city of Had Kourt, in the Sidi Kacem region, witnessed a moving humanitarian incident on Wednesday, after a woman affected by the floods in the Gharb region gave birth, after being evacuated from her home affected by rising water levels.
According to the available data, the woman was transferred to Dar Al-Fatat as part of the emergency measures taken by the local authorities to shelter families affected by the floods, before surprising everyone by giving birth in safe conditions, with the support of specialized frameworks. The same sources added that the local authorities, in a humanitarian initiative, celebrated the newborn, where a sheep was slaughtered on this occasion, expressing solidarity and psychological support for the family, in light of the exceptional circumstances that the region is going through.
