The repercussions of the complaints received by the judiciary are still pursuing a former tax official in the city of Inezgane, who was previously dismissed from his duties at the regional directorate after he was the subject of several accusations of fraud from local investors.
The complaints that were directed against this official agreed on accusing him of deliberately creating tax problems for a group of local investors, exploiting them to lure them and steal money and in-kind benefits from them on the basis that it was part of settling their fabricated tax problems, before it became apparent that the whole issue was a well-crafted fraud. The services in charge of taxes regionally in the city of Agadir had dismissed the official responsible for these violations from his duties at the head of the regional directorate in Inezgane. The coming days are expected to reveal developments in the file of fraud operations practiced by this official, especially in light of the victims' determination to expose the extent of the corruption he practiced, which resulted in the theft of tens of millions of centimes from a number of them, in addition to the damage to their investment interests due to the deliberate errors he committed, some of which are currently being presented before the judiciary.
