As part of its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of consular services and bring them closer to members of the Moroccan community residing in Spain, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Murcia, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, and in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Spain, announced the launch of a set of organizational measures aimed at facilitating access for users to various administrative services.

These measures included strengthening the daily absorptive capacity of the consulate by increasing the number of appointments available to users, in addition to establishing new administrative offices dedicated to processing applications for the authentication of agencies, especially those necessary to obtain a criminal record card, in response to the increasing demand for this type of service.

Also, in the same context, the working and reception hours at the consulate were extended beyond the normal hours, as work is now continuous until six in the evening, from Monday to Friday, with the aim of enabling the largest possible number of community members to benefit from consular services in appropriate conditions.

In conjunction with these measures, the Consulate General organized today an "Open Day" activity, in a communication initiative aimed at strengthening proximity to the Moroccan community and improving the image of the consular facility, coinciding with developments in the law on the settlement of the status of irregular Moroccan immigrants in Spain.

On this occasion, Sanaa Marrouh, the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Murcia, made an exclusive statement to HIBAPRESS, saying, "We at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Murcia seek to facilitate the access of members of the Moroccan community to our services, by increasing the number of appointments and opening additional offices to process authentication requests, and extending working hours to six in the evening, to ensure the provision of effective and accessible consular services for all."

This reform workshop reflects the commitment of the Consulate General in Murcia to continue modernizing its services and improving its performance, in a way that guarantees a quality public service that meets the aspirations of members of the Moroccan community and supports their positive integration within the country of residence.
