Moroccan international Ayoub El Kaabi has extended his contract with Olympiakos, the Greek club announced on Monday, without specifying the duration of the contract.
“We fought and won together, we conquered together and now we will continue to dream together! Ayoub El Kaabi has renewed his contract with Olympiakos,” the Greek club said on its “X” account.
El Kaabi, 31, was one of the main architects of Olympiakos’ victory in the Europa Conference League (2023-2024). Named the best player in the competition by UEFA, he scored 11 goals, including the winning goal in the final against Fiorentina.
Before signing with Olympiakos in 2023, the Moroccan striker played for Wydad Casablanca, Renaissance Berkane, Hatayspor in Turkey, Hebei in China and Al-Sadd in Qatar.
