The Director-General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, decided to grant an exceptional promotion to the rank of police officer to the four duty martyrs who died in the tragic traffic accident in the outskirts of the city of Sidi Ifni, with all the administrative and material effects of this functional promotion for the benefit of their beneficiaries.
A statement from the General Directorate of National Security stated that it was also decided to grant police officers who were injured with severe injuries an exceptional promotion in rank (échelon), in accordance with the provisions and requirements of the basic system for employees of the General Directorate of National Security. The source added that to reinforce these exceptional administrative incentives, and to support the social aspect of the victims, the Director-General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance decided to employ two widows of married employees who passed away, directly in the ranks of the national security forces, after they fulfilled the conditions and standards required to enter the police job, and in accordance with the relevant organizational and administrative provisions. On the social side as well, the beneficiaries of the victims were enabled to access all forms of moral and material support, as well as including them in the list of beneficiaries of all regular periodic initiatives directed to the widows and orphans of national security officers. According to the statement, these exceptional administrative incentives and additional social services come to support the first initiatives that were signed by the Director-General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance immediately after the tragic traffic accident, which consisted of enabling all the injured to receive the necessary treatments, and covering their expenses in full, as well as offering condolences to the families of the victims and enabling them to receive the necessary support. The General Directorate of National Security noted that this package of professional incentives and social initiatives provided to the victims of this traffic accident and their beneficiaries, indicates the General Directorate of National Security's keenness to provide social, financial and moral support to all members of the national security family in all circumstances, on the basis that the police officer in charge of protecting the security of citizens and the safety of their property is himself and his family members are subject to constant protection and care.
