HIBAPRESS – Ahmed Al-Musaed
As part of consolidating the values of solidarity and cooperation that characterize Moroccan society, the governor of Figuig province, on Sunday, the 4th of Ramadan, oversaw the launch of the national food support operation "Ramadan 1447". This initiative, organized by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in implementation of the High Royal Instructions, comes to alleviate the financial burden on needy families during the holy month.
The operation targets the distribution of a total of 17,700 food rations at the level of Figuig province, and this aid has been carefully directed to include the most needy groups, including widows, women in difficult situations, the elderly, people with special needs, and families residing in rural and remote areas of the province.
The allocated ration for each family consists of a basket of essential food items that have been carefully selected to meet consumption needs during the month of Ramadan, including: (flour, oil, sugar, rice, tea, milk, tomato paste, lentils, and pasta).
This operation, which has become an established annual tradition, embodies the Royal care for people in situations of social vulnerability, and reflects the commitment of the state and national institutions to consolidating the values of humanity and sharing, and strengthening social bonds within the province, in line with the strategic goals of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in combating poverty and social exclusion.
The regional authorities have mobilized all logistical and human resources to ensure that the distribution process takes place in conditions of transparency and dignity, while adhering to the organizational standards in place to ensure that the aid reaches its actual beneficiaries.
