The newspaper learned from informed sources that the Governor of the Marrakech-Safi region, Al-Khatib El-Hebil, sent official letters to the heads of departments and sections regarding employees absent from work and not adhering to administrative hours.
The same sources confirmed that the Governor requested that the heads of departments prepare lists of the names of ghost employees and submit them to him to take the necessary measures to improve the work of administrative facilities within the region's province and improve its services, which is a challenge that characterizes the new phase that the country has entered in its democratic path, and in its approach to completing the building of a modern state, which puts serving the citizen and preserving his dignity at the heart of its concerns. Also, a new daily "punching" system has been adopted where employees are required to sign in when they arrive at the workplace at nine in the morning, and then when they leave at three in the afternoon, according to the adopted Ramadan time, where this measure aims to put an end to laxity and ensure actual and continuous attendance inside the offices instead of absence or being satisfied with a formal presence. Governor Al-Khatib El-Hebil is distinguished by his strict discipline and practical sense, as he has signed a successful experience during his professional career, and the experiences and field experience he has accumulated.
