HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Several neighborhoods in the city of Droua have been experiencing a noticeable spread of household waste in the streets and alleys in recent weeks, a scene that has sparked widespread resentment among the residents.
Piles of garbage have become widespread near homes and businesses, accompanied by foul odors and disfigurement of the general appearance, in light of what citizens describe as a lack of effective intervention from the concerned authorities.
According to consistent statements from a number of residents, the rate of waste collection is experiencing a clear disruption, which has led to its daily accumulation, especially in some black spots that have turned into open, random dumps.
In contrast to this situation, voices are rising, demanding that the council members take full responsibility, considering that the city's residents have the right to a healthy environment and regular basic services.
