The Asmar area, part of the Abd El Ghaya Souahel commune in Al Hoceima province, witnessed a traffic accident involving a "pickup" truck loaded with a quantity of olive harvest, in circumstances that resulted in material losses without any human injuries.
According to consistent information, the accident occurred on a local track in the area, where the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to its overturning and damage to it and its cargo. Fortunately, no lives were lost, and no injuries were recorded among the passengers. This incident highlights the importance of adhering to traffic safety rules, especially during periods of agricultural harvest, which see an increase in the rate of product transportation through rural routes. It is also recommended to respect the vehicle's load capacity and ensure its mechanical readiness, to avoid accidents that could have more serious consequences. Road safety remains a shared responsibility that requires caution from all road users, especially in rural areas, which require more attentive and focused driving.
