News circulating on social media has sparked a wave of controversy regarding the separation of player Mohamed Elneny, the star of the Emirati Al-Jazira club and the Egyptian national team, from his Moroccan wife, following notable observations that piqued the curiosity of followers.
Digital platform users have circulated data indicating that Elneny and his wife have unfollowed each other on the "Instagram" application, coinciding with the wife's deletion of photos that brought them together, which opened the door to multiple interpretations about the occurrence of an actual separation, without any official confirmation or denial from both parties. In a separate context, speculation also touched on the player's football future, especially after the spread of news about the possibility of him entering into negotiations with Al-Ahly club, to compensate for the possible departure of Malian player Aliou Dieng at the end of the current season. However, a source from within Al-Ahly denied any official contact with Elneny at the present time, explaining that what is being circulated does not exceed mere media nominations, and the file has not been seriously presented within the corridors of the club. The source also stressed that the Al-Ahly administration has not yet decided on the option of contracting with a substitute for Dieng, whether with a foreign or local player, especially in light of the return of a number of loaned midfielders at the end of the season. The ambiguity remains the master of the situation, whether regarding the family situation of Mohamed Elneny or his football future, pending an official clarification that puts an end to the torrent of circulating rumors.
