According to what the Axios website mentioned, quoting American officials, the administration of US President Donald Trump is exploring multiple options for dealing with Iranian nuclear facilities, including sending special forces to work alongside nuclear experts and perhaps with the participation of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to ensure control of sensitive materials and handle them safely.
A senior American official indicated that one of the proposed scenarios includes special forces entering Iranian nuclear sites to secure materials that can be used militarily, accompanied by nuclear scientists, and perhaps experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency, to ensure control over highly enriched uranium and handle it safely.
The focus is particularly on Iran's stockpile, which is estimated at about 450 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent, a percentage that can be quickly raised to levels that qualify it for manufacturing a nuclear weapon.
