QatarEnergy announced on Tuesday the halt of production of some products of chemical, petrochemical, and conversion industries, one day after stopping the production of liquefied gas following an Iranian attack targeting its operational facilities.

The largest state-owned production company in the world said in a statement that, "Following the decision to stop the production of liquefied natural gas and related products, we will stop the production of some products from our chemical, petrochemical, and conversion industries in the State of Qatar, including urea, polymers, methanol, aluminum, and others." The company had announced on Monday the halt of production of liquefied natural gas and related products, due to an attack by two Iranian drones on its operational facilities in the industrial cities of Ras Laffan and Mesaieed.
