The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the United Arab Emirates "has been subjected to over a thousand attacks, a number exceeding the total of all targeted countries combined, and our armed forces have responded with professionalism, efficiency, and distinction."
The ministry explained, in a statement reported by the Emirates News Agency, that "the United Arab Emirates has not taken any decision to change its defensive stance towards the repeated Iranian attacks." They emphasized that the UAE "did not participate in the war, nor did it allow the use of its land, territorial waters, or airspace in any attack on Iran, in compliance with its policies based on good neighborliness and de-escalation, and in accordance with the United Nations Charter." In this regard, the statement adds, the UAE affirms its right to self-defense, as guaranteed by international law and the United Nations Charter.
