Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) announced on Wednesday the launch of the second edition of the “Bank Al-Maghrib Prize for Economic and Financial Research,” setting September 30, 2024 as the deadline for submitting applications.
This Prize, which is part of the guidelines of the institution’s social responsibility policy, aims to support research in areas related to BAM’s missions, to strengthen synergies with the academic world and to contribute to the influence of economic research and the development of the research ecosystem on a national scale, the Central Bank said in a press release.
Applications are open to all researchers of Moroccan nationality, aged under 40 and having defended a doctoral thesis in economics or finance in a Moroccan or foreign higher education establishment, specifies the same source.
Two prizes will be awarded to the winners, namely an excellence prize and an encouragement prize. The prize jury reserves the right to award a favorite prize.
