A police officer was injured on Wednesday night – Thursday, after being attacked, along with two colleagues, by a pack of stray dogs at a judicial dam at the entrance to the city of Meknes, specifically on Bir Anzeran Street towards El Hajeb.
According to media sources, the police officer was injured after falling to the ground while trying to avoid an attack by one of the dogs, which necessitated his rapid transfer to the emergency room of the Mohammed V Regional Hospital in Meknes to receive the necessary treatment. The same sources added that a number of citizens intervened alongside the security elements to neutralize the danger resulting from the stray dogs that attacked the perimeter of the judicial dam, before the situation was brought under control and work resumed normally.
