The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced today, Sunday, that its air defense systems have managed to intercept and destroy 125 missiles and 211 drones since the beginning of the Iranian aggression against the Kingdom.
The General Command affirmed in a statement its continued confrontation of successive waves of Iranian attacks, reminding that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian objects and private property is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, while these attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security. Bahrain, along with several Arab countries, is subjected to Iranian attacks against the backdrop of the tensions witnessed in the region, which has been condemned by various countries, diplomatic and political entities, and international bodies, calling for a halt to these attacks that threaten regional peace and security and undermine peace efforts in the region.
