HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ouldali
The criminal chamber at the Primary Court in Al Hoceima ruled last week to convict a man and a woman on the grounds of their involvement in a case related to the possession and trafficking of drugs, in addition to preparing a place for prostitution, after they were followed by the Public Prosecution on several charges related to the file.
According to identical data, the court issued its verdict convicting the main defendant with a sentence of seven years in prison, with a fine of 20,000 dirhams. The judicial body also ruled in the same case to convict the second defendant with an enforceable prison sentence accompanied by a fine of 500 dirhams, after her involvement in the actions attributed to her within the same case was proven. These rulings fall within the framework of judicial efforts aimed at addressing drug trafficking crimes and all related activities, including exploiting places for illegal activities.
