HIBAPRESS – Follow-up
The early hours of Tuesday morning turned into a harrowing experience for Moroccan international Naïl El Aynaoui, after he found himself and his family in a direct confrontation with an armed gang that stormed his home in Italy.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a group of about six people managed to sneak into the Roma player's home late at night, where they threatened everyone inside at gunpoint. The 24-year-old player woke up to the sound of the break-in, before being forced to comply with the attackers' orders, while his family members were isolated in one room under surveillance. The family lived through moments of intense tension until the perpetrators finished their operation. According to the same source, the gang members seized personal belongings, including a luxury watch and jewelry, with an estimated total value of about 10,000 euros, before fleeing the scene. The incident prompted the intervention of local authorities, after the noise attracted the attention of neighbors who immediately informed the security authorities, but the suspects had already left before the police arrived.
