HIBAPRESS – I. Asmlali
Joy spread throughout Moroccan artistic circles after the announcement of Morocco's regaining of the 2025 African Cup of Nations title, where art stars expressed their pride and appreciation for the achievement in various ways, between sincere national celebration and sharp satirical touches.
"Al-Big" topped the scene with his statements in which he linked the sports victory to his satirical way, considering the cup a first step towards other files, in a veiled reference to the eastern Sahara, while the artist "Aminux" expressed his sports enthusiasm, demanding the return of the national coach Walid Regragui to lead the national team towards new glories, and Anas El Baz added a sense of humor with clever sarcasm about the slow financial transfers in Senegal, in reference to Morocco's superiority over its rivals.
The reactions of another generation of artists were more epic and diplomatic, where Rabie El Katty raised slogans of pride, considering the recovery of the cup a long-awaited historical justice, while Rabie Sqli chose to focus on the administrative aspect of the achievement, by publishing a picture of him with the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, contenting himself with the word "Khaddam," confirming that organization and planning are behind the successive Moroccan successes.
On this occasion, social media platforms turned into a space for national celebration, combining art and sports, confirming the cohesion between intellectuals and artists around the achievements that enhance the position of the Moroccan jersey in Africa.
