HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
The "Lalla Khadija" Mosque in the city of Kenitra witnessed, on Friday morning, the ceremonies of performing the Eid al-Fitr prayer, which was headed by Abdelhamid El Mezide, the Governor of the Kenitra region, in the presence of an official delegation, elected figures, security officials, and a large number of worshipers, in an atmosphere filled with reverence and tranquility.
This year's Eid prayer was distinguished by being held inside the mosque, taking into account the weather conditions, which contributed to organizing the Eid ritual in a way that ensures the comfort of the worshipers and allows them to perform the prayer in the best possible atmosphere. During the Eid sermon, the preacher focused on the spiritual and social values symbolized by Eid al-Fitr, calling for the promotion of solidarity, kinship, and the spread of tolerance and love among members of society, while emphasizing the importance of continuing religious practice and adhering to moral values after the end of the month of Ramadan. The occasion concluded with prayers for His Majesty King Mohammed VI for victory and support, for Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, and all members of the Sharifian royal family, as well as the attendees pleading for mercy and forgiveness for the late Kings Mohammed V and Hassan II, in a scene that reflects the unity of Moroccan society and the depth of the spiritual bonds between citizens and their leadership.
