Alexandria Governorate, northern Egypt, witnessed a shocking incident after a young man (20 years old) killed his mother and 5 of his siblings inside the family home in the Bashayer Al-Khair area.
The security services arrested the accused young man, and initial investigations revealed that the victims were 3 males and 2 females, all of whom were under the age of 18, while the crime occurred under mysterious circumstances. Information from the security services indicated that the accused attempted to end his life by throwing himself from the top of the building, but the residents were able to prevent him and take control of him before handing him over to the police. After a report from the residents, security forces immediately moved to the scene of the report, and the accused was taken to the police station, where a report was filed about the incident, while the competent investigation authorities are conducting their work to reveal the circumstances and motives of the incident.
