HIBAPRESS – A.Sayyad
Moroccan director Hicham Lasri is preparing to release his new feature film "The Exiled from the Mercy of God" in cinemas starting April 8th. The film blends drama and dark comedy, addressing profound intellectual and human issues.
The film features a cast of actors from Morocco and Europe, including Nadia Kounda, Julie Gayet, and Salah Ben Saleh. Lasri also appears for the first time in front of the camera, playing the role of a writer experiencing a creative crisis.

The film's events revolve around a personal journey seeking to implement a "fatwa" in exchange for a financial reward, before the events turn into a dramatic course reflecting intellectual conflicts and questions about freedom and human will.
This work is the fruit of years of development, with co-production and supervision by producer Lamia Chraibi, and with the support of the Moroccan Cinema Center and the National Company of Radio and Television of Morocco, allowing Lasri to continue his presence in the Moroccan and international cinematic scene.
