The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today Friday, that the atmosphere will be conducive to rainfall and showers in the Eastern region, the Atlas Mountains, the southeast and the plains, as well as snowfall over the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas.
It is also expected that the sky will be partly cloudy, which will give scattered drops within the Chaouia, Abda and Souss regions, with the formation of fog masses in the northern and central Atlantic plains during the morning and night, with the spread of somewhat dense low clouds accompanied by fog east of the Mediterranean facade and the northwest of the desert regions.
Strong winds are also expected in the Tangier region.
The minimum temperatures will range between 01 and 06 degrees in the Atlas, Rif and High Plateaus, between 08 and 12 degrees in Sais and Gharb, and between 13 and 16 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
As for the temperatures during the day, they will witness a decrease in most parts of the northern regions of the Kingdom, while they will experience an increase in the rest of the other regions.
The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean facade and the Strait, and rough to very rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya, and slightly choppy to rough on the rest of the coasts.
