The Education, Cultural and Social Affairs Committee of the House of Councillors approved, by a majority vote today, Monday, draft law No. 26.25 concerning the reorganization of the National Press Council, as referred from the House of Representatives.
The draft law, during this session, which was attended by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, was approved by 6 parliamentary councilors, against the opposition of five others.
The number of amendments submitted to the project reached 139 amendments, distributed among 64 amendments for the Haraki group, 33 amendments for the Socialist-Federal Opposition group, 7 amendments for the General Union of Workers in Morocco, 18 amendments for the Moroccan Union of Labor, 10 amendments for the Democratic Confederation of Labor group, in addition to 7 amendments submitted by the advisor Loubna Alaoui.
