The Sreidi district in the Ain Chock area of Casablanca witnessed clashes this Tuesday morning during a demolition operation, resulting in the injury of a local authority agent to the eye, in addition to the transfer of a number of victims to the hospital for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, the operation witnessed skirmishes and verbal altercations between the residents of the district and elements of the local authorities, before ending with the injury of a local authority agent and other victims who were transferred to the hospital. The competent authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident, while taking measures to secure the operation and ensure the safety of all citizens during the implementation of the demolition decisions.
