HIBAPRESS – Ait Melloul
The judicial police in the city of Ait Melloul managed to dismantle a criminal gang specializing in violent robberies, after a precise security operation that came after a series of complaints from citizens who were subjected to attacks under the threat of white weapons in a number of neighborhoods.
Field investigations and security surveillance led to the arrest of three suspects with criminal records, who were caught in the act. Searches resulted in the seizure of white weapons and a collection of stolen goods that are likely related to the criminal activities attributed to them. The detainees have been placed under custody, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, within the framework of the investigation aimed at uncovering all the circumstances of the case, and determining the potential extensions of this criminal network. This operation falls within the ongoing efforts of the security services to combat crime and enhance the sense of security, especially with regard to violent attacks that target the safety of citizens and their property.
