The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Thursday, that the weather in general will be relatively cold over the Atlas Mountains.
It is also expected to have light and scattered rainfall with a chance of thunderstorms in the central Atlantic plains, the Tangier region and the north-west of the southern provinces of the Kingdom. It is also expected to record relatively strong to strong wind gusts in the eastern region, the Atlas Mountains, and the south-east, with local sandstorms. Minimum temperatures will range between (05 -) and 00 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, between 12 and 16 degrees in the southern provinces, the south-eastern slopes, and the eastern region, and will be between 06 and 12 degrees in the rest of the other regions. As for daytime temperatures, they will rise in the north-west, the eastern region, and the north of the southern provinces, while they will decrease in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. The sea will be calm to slightly choppy on the Mediterranean front, slightly choppy to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and very rough to very very rough between Larache and Tarfaya, and it will be rough to strong on the rest of the coasts.
