HIBAPRESS – MAP
The Consulate General of the Kingdom in Amsterdam organized, on Saturday, an open day to facilitate and enhance access to consular services for the benefit of Moroccan citizens under its consular jurisdiction, especially as the summer holiday approaches.
On this occasion, a range of consular services were provided for the beneficiaries, particularly the issuance and renewal of passports and national identity cards, the issuance and delivery of civil status documents, the drafting of notarial contracts, as well as the authentication of administrative documents. Services for individual support were also provided, including administrative, legal, social, and documentary issues. In a statement to the Moroccan News Agency, the Consul General of Morocco in Amsterdam, Salim Lahjmary, affirmed that this initiative aims to enable the largest possible number of citizens to benefit from consular services, especially those who cannot travel to the consulate during the week due to professional or personal commitments. He added that the consulate has mobilized all its resources on this occasion to respond to the requests of the beneficiaries in the best conditions, stressing the continuation of efforts to provide modern, effective, and accessible services for all. For their part, a number of beneficiaries expressed their satisfaction with the progress of this process and the quality of its organization, especially with the approach of the summer period. Given the success of this initiative, the consulate intends to organize this type of activity regularly within the framework of its annual work program, with the aim of enhancing access to consular services for the benefit of the Moroccan community in Amsterdam and its surroundings, as confirmed by Mr. Lahjmary.
