HIBAPRESS
Social media platforms in Algeria witnessed in recent hours a noticeable wave of posts calling on users to refrain from publishing any photos or recordings documenting the explosions that reportedly occurred in Blida, while emphasizing the need to be responsible and not contribute to the circulation of content related to the incident.
These calls, albeit indirectly, are understood as an acknowledgment of the existence of filmed materials already being circulated among some activists, which reinforces speculation about the explosions, especially in the absence of a clear official narrative explaining the circumstances or nature of what happened.
In this context, these developments have not remained confined to the internal scene, as they have been covered by international media platforms, focusing on the ambiguity surrounding the incident, which has contributed to expanding the scope of attention beyond borders.
This also coincided with the issuance of warnings from some countries to their citizens regarding travel to Algeria, where they called for caution, in light of reports that indicated the inclusion of the country among destinations that may pose risks at this stage.
The picture remains incomplete until now, between calls for silence and caution on the one hand, and the absence of accurate official clarifications on the other hand, which opens the door to increasing questions about the reality of what happened in Blida.
