HIBAPRESS – Agencies
Ahmad Al-Sharaa, the Syrian President for the transitional period, stated today, Friday, that Damascus is affected by what is happening in Lebanon.
The Syrian News Agency "SANA" reported on Friday evening that President Al-Sharaa appreciated the efforts made by US President Donald Trump to stop the war. In the meantime, Al-Sharaa expressed his hope for a transition to a phase of reforming paths and not repeating such wars again. He said: "Syria has suffered during the past years and the Syrian people have been exposed to immigration, displacement, and strikes with chemical weapons, and there is great destruction, and avoiding it today from entering any conflict is the natural and correct path."
