HIBAPRESS – Agencies. American President Donald Trump said on Monday that many bombs would begin to explode if the ceasefire with Iran ended on Tuesday, adding that the goal of ongoing talks with Tehran remains to prevent it from possessing a nuclear weapon.
Trump affirmed in a statement to the Public Broadcasting Service that he does not know if Iran will participate in Islamabad talks, but he said that Washington has agreed to attend, and that Tehran's non-participation is not a problem for him. Trump also announced his rejection of Energy Minister Chris Wright's estimate that gasoline prices may not fall below three dollars until later this year or next year, considering that they will fall strongly if the escalation ends and Iran does what it should do.
