The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, stated today in the House of Councilors that the government was on time since the beginning of its term in 2021, where it directed its choices towards the real national priorities despite the difficult circumstances and contexts in which it assumed responsibility, noting that this stage witnessed complex global crises and the shutdown of airports and disruption of supply chains. However, the government chose to confront these challenges through work and reform, focusing its concerns on protecting purchasing power and ensuring the continuity of major development projects.
In his comments on the interventions of parliamentary councilors during the discussion of the government's performance, the Head of Government emphasized that the confidence placed in the government's choices was a motive for providing practical and field answers, especially in the commitment to the actual implementation of the vision for the social state, explaining that the successes achieved were not accidental, but rather the result of political courage in making the right decision that serves the public interest away from narrow political gains.
The first government official highlighted that the government worked with a proactive logic to ensure the resilience of vital sectors, such as tourism, amid strong international competition, stressing that history records the decisions that change people's lives.
Akhannouch concluded that the government remained faithful to its contracts, considering responsibility a national trust before King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people, which allowed for strengthening confidence in institutions and building a clear vision for the rising future of Morocco.
