HIBAPRESS – Tiznit
The judicial police in the city of Tiznit arrested two people, aged 24 and 25, with criminal records, on Wednesday, on suspicion of their involvement in the promotion and transportation of hallucinogenic tablets, based on accurate information provided by the national territory surveillance services.
The arrest operation took place in the old city immediately upon the arrival of the suspects from the city of Agadir, where the search resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of "Rivotril" tablets that were intended for promotion within Tiznit.
Those concerned were placed under judicial investigation measures under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to identify the remaining potential extensions of this criminal activity and to uncover the other perpetrators.
