The urgent felony chamber of the Imtantanout Primary Court, on Thursday, sentenced a married woman to eight months of effective imprisonment, while her lover was sentenced to four months of effective imprisonment, after they were prosecuted by the Public Prosecution while in detention on charges of marital infidelity and corruption.
The details of the case go back to the end of last month, after the husband of the accused filed a complaint with the security services, which included accusations against her of establishing illicit relationships with a number of people, requesting that her phone be subjected to examination.
The initial findings of the examination revealed romantic conversations between the suspect and her lover, at a time when circulating information indicates the existence of marital disputes between the woman and her husband.
