HIBAPRESS – Mohammed Zerriouh
In a solidarity step with humanitarian and social dimensions, the Al Rahma Foundation for Social Development in the city of Nador recently hosted a distribution process of school bags and purchase vouchers for 240 male and female students from the waiting list.
This initiative, which accompanies the school year, aims to alleviate the financial burdens facing vulnerable families and support children's educational journeys in better conditions.
This process is the result of a partnership and support from the Dutch association "EGE," headed by Zaki Baran, and under the direct supervision of the Salama Foundation for Social Works, reflecting the positive impact of joint cooperation between institutions and associations in transforming solidarity values into tangible field initiatives that respond to the actual needs of the targeted groups.
The distribution ceremony was attended by prominent figures, led by Larbi Salama, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Oriental region, accompanied by Jamal El Idrissi, Chargé de Mission at the Consulate, and Soufiane El Mokaddem, President of the Association of Moroccans Abroad. The attendees emphasized the centrality of coordination between various actors to promote a culture of social solidarity and support education.
The aid was not limited to the educational aspect only, but also included providing purchase vouchers for families to help them face the costs of the academic year, in addition to a special humanitarian gesture of providing a television set for the abused women's wing at the institution, with the aim of improving their living conditions and the care provided to them and their children within this social space.
This integrated initiative confirms the pioneering roles played by the Al Rahma Foundation for Social Development thanks to its field experience, and highlights the importance of fruitful partnerships in advancing associational work, promoting equal opportunities, and providing effective support to families and individuals who are in dire need of care and follow-up.
