The Royal Gendarmerie elements, on Friday evening, managed to arrest three individuals from outside the Jerada province, on suspicion of possessing a significant quantity of kif drug, in the Ouled Othmane area belonging to the Saqqa commune in the Jerada province.
According to the available data, the seized quantity was found hidden inside one of the baskets used for olive harvesting, before the suspects were taken to the territorial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in the Saqqa commune, in order to subject them to questioning and investigation under the supervision of the competent authorities.
The ongoing investigation aims to determine the circumstances and details of possessing this quantity of drugs, and to verify whether it was intended for personal consumption or prepared for distribution, as well as to uncover any potential ramifications of the case, pending the outcome of the legal procedures taken against those concerned.
