Despite the strategic importance that the municipality of Tassoultante has come to occupy, as a breathing space for the city of Marrakech due to its availability of real estate, which has attracted real estate developers who have built urban complexes with modern specifications.
The municipality also includes hotel units and guesthouses that attract thousands of foreign tourists. However, reaching the municipality of Tassoultante subjects visitors to a real ordeal due to the dilapidated road leading to the Red Sea tourist resort and the Nomos tourist resort, where potholes and bumps are prevalent.
In this regard, many investors have expressed their dismay at the road's condition, at a time when they inject significant sums of money into the municipality's treasury annually, which necessitates the repair of the catastrophic road.
It is worth noting that the municipality of Tassoultante is considered the wealthiest municipality in the province of Marrakech, which means it does not lack financial resources to repair this road. This places the municipal council in a position of accountability, as infrastructure, particularly roads, is the lever that would elevate Tassoultante and enhance its position.
