Adel Al-Bittar, from the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), affirmed that the government is determined to combat corruption and protect public funds, stressing the necessity of confronting practices that harm the national economy and affect citizens' interests, during his intervention at the House of Representatives within the framework of the session to discuss the government's statement.
Al-Bittar considered that combating corruption requires taking practical measures to enhance transparency and consolidate the principles of good governance, while ensuring the protection of public resources from all forms of illegal exploitation, in a way that guarantees their direction towards developmental and social priorities.
The speaker emphasized the importance of confronting what he described as "Al-Farqashiyya," referring to speculators who exploit market imbalances to achieve profits at the expense of citizens' purchasing power, calling for confronting practices that contribute to raising prices and harming economic balances.
These positions fall within the parliamentary discussion on the priorities of government action, as issues of combating corruption, protecting public funds, and controlling markets remain files that receive wide attention, given their connection to strengthening trust in institutions and improving the living conditions of Moroccans.
