HIBAPRESS – Rabat
A session to discuss the government's statement in the House of Representatives witnessed an event that angered a number of opposition MPs after the session chairman decided to suspend the discussion more than once to allow Al-Mansouri to answer the phone.
The session chairman suspended the discussion of the government's statement more than once at the request of Fatima Zahra Al-Mansouri, who asked to leave the plenary hall to answer her phone, which prompted opposition MPs to express their displeasure and protest.
This incident also occurred yesterday during Al-Mansouri's presence in the House of Councillors, prompting opposition MPs to express their displeasure to the point that one MP from the Justice and Development party commented, "Look at this government, we haven't even started yet."
