The Tangier security directorate continues its field campaigns in the various streets and neighborhoods of the city, with the aim of monitoring motorcycles and apprehending traffic law violations, as part of combating stunt riding and behaviors that threaten the safety of road users.
These campaigns target multiple violations, including disregarding traffic lights, using motorcycles for unofficial transport, as well as violations related to license plates and the absence of legal documents.
The measures taken include impounding violating motorcycles and depositing them in the municipal pound, in addition to drawing up legal reports against the individuals involved and referring them to the competent departments, along with summoning a number of motorcycle and car drivers whose violations were observed through security reports or video clips documenting dangerous acts in the streets.
These interventions are carried out in coordination between the traffic police, the judicial police, and public security forces, as part of intensifying traffic monitoring and dealing with registered violations at various city axes.
