A young man was transferred late Sunday evening to the emergency department of the Jerada Provincial Hospital in critical condition, after being subjected to an assault on his head, likely with a sharp weapon, by unknown individuals.
According to available information, the victim was transported to the hospital on a motorcycle driven by a girl, in an attempt to rescue him and enable him to receive necessary treatment, given the seriousness of the injury he sustained.
Immediately upon his arrival at the hospital, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie from the Jerada Territorial Center arrived, where they began initial procedures to investigate the circumstances of the incident by listening to the girl who accompanied the victim to the hospital.
The investigation is expected to include determining the circumstances of the assault, the reasons surrounding it, and identifying the individuals suspected of being involved in this case, under the supervision of the competent authorities.
