HIBAPRESS – Rabat

Aziz Akhannouch, the head of the National Rally of Independents party, said that the "Path of Achievements" tour, which started from the city of Dakhla, is experiencing special moments thanks to the large presence of the party's male and female fighters, stressing that the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region represents a lot for the party, as it embodies cultural and heritage depth, and for being a model of the dynamism witnessed by Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, for 26 years.

Akhannouch, who was speaking on Saturday to a large crowd of male and female fighters from the National Rally of Independents party in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, within the eighth station of the "Paths of Achievements" in Rabat, explained that this region strongly expresses a progressive Morocco, and constitutes a real interface for the transformations that the country is witnessing, adding that it embodies "the Morocco of today and the Morocco of the future".

Akhannouch pointed out that the national tour of the "Path of Achievements" is organized in various provinces and regions to complete a political and partisan path that did not start today or in 2021 after citizens entrusted the party with managing government affairs, but "we started it years ago". He recalled the organization of a regional conference in the city of Rabat in December 2017 within the framework of a national tour to formulate the party program in consultation with the fighters.

He added that at that time he invited the active party forces to participate in the discussion in order to provide a vision that meets the aspirations of citizens, pointing out that the party's priorities were and still are clear: health, education and employment. He stressed that citizens have entrusted the party with a national mission and that it has an ambitious vision to achieve it, which is a vision that "brings everyone together" and forms a common ground for a better future.

The party president stressed that the main goal of the government is to implement this vision, and that the majority has made great commitments that must be fulfilled through continuous work, saying: "We do not work for the party, but for our country and for all Moroccans, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him."

He pointed out that the government listens daily to the concerns and aspirations of citizens, who demand justice, dignity, and equal opportunities in various regions and provinces. Akhannouch quoted a citizen in Sidi Allal El Bahraoui during a consultative meeting: "You must deal with small cities like big cities… because we are also citizens," stressing that this demand is in place, and that the development that the Kingdom is witnessing must include everyone in large and small cities, villages, and neighborhoods.

He stressed that government commitments have no meaning if they are not translated into a real impact, adding that "work and reason are what make promises become a reality." He reviewed the features of his vision for "Transforming Morocco", the Morocco that provides a decent life, protects citizens, and guarantees justice, education, job opportunities, and equal conditions for all.

He stressed that work continues daily to achieve this vision, but the impact that Moroccans aspire to has not yet been fully achieved, adding that today's meeting comes to reaffirm the collective commitment to continue implementing the programs that citizens are waiting for.

Akhannouch reiterated the affirmation that the government has adhered to the royal high directives and recorded important results in implementing the social state projects, explaining that Moroccans today enjoy the same health coverage, whether they are employees, workers, doctors, retirees, drivers, or unemployed.

He also pointed out the benefit of four million families from direct social support, which ranges between 500 and 1200 dirhams per month, announcing the new increase that will begin to be disbursed starting at the end of this month.

In the field of education, he confirmed that the generalization of pioneering schools is proceeding steadily, and all schools will become pioneers within two years, while the results of the radical change in the health sector have begun to appear at the level of proximity centers, hospitals and medical services.

Akhannouch noted that the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region has witnessed important transformations in the health sector, including the reconstruction of Ibn Sina Hospital, which is expected to open in May 2026, the opening of the proximity hospital in Tamesna next January, and the proximity hospital in Sidi Yahya in the Sidi Slimane province after about a month, as well as the readiness of the psychiatric hospital in Kenitra at the end of this year, in addition to the proximity health center in Tabrikt in Salé.

He also confirmed that the region is a leading model in medical emergency services within the new model that the Kingdom is working on.
