In light of the ongoing works to rehabilitate the northern entrance to the city of Guercif, road users are facing a concerning situation due to a clear lack of road safety measures, especially during the night hours.
Despite the importance of these projects in improving the infrastructure, the absence of sufficient temporary signage puts drivers at unexpected risks. Several citizens stated that the warning signs are insufficient, while temporary lighting is absent in several sections, which makes visibility difficult and increases the likelihood of traffic accidents or material damage to vehicles. This situation prompted road users to appeal to the competent authorities for urgent intervention, by strengthening warning signs, providing appropriate lighting, and organizing traffic flow in a way that ensures the safety of everyone until the completion of the works.
