HIBAPRESS
The Al-Maataoui district in the city of Guercif witnessed a theft targeting a mosque under construction, after unknown individuals stole electrical wires that were intended for the works.
The incident caused great resentment among the residents and those in charge of the mosque construction project, especially since these actions would impede the progress of the works and cause additional financial losses.
A number of citizens demanded the need to strengthen surveillance around construction sites and religious facilities, to protect public and private property, and to avoid the repetition of such thefts that affect projects of a religious and social nature.
